WHAT WE BELEIVE

We believe the Bible is the complete, inerrant Word of God.
No mistakes. No contradictions. Just the mind, heart, and Word of God. The Word of God IS God, therefore, the Word of God will never change. For this reason, it cannot be edited nor “updated” or improved upon by any human authority or opinion.

The Bible, alone, tells us what to do to be saved. The Bible is very clear about how to live our lives now and what we need to do to gain eternal life (God’s plan of salvation).

The Bible is clear that the plan of salvation begins with the initial step of believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.(Mark 16:16, John 3:16, Romans 10:9). Believing in Jesus means accepting and applying His plan, no one else’s (John 14:6).

We find salvation through obedience to His Gospel (Romans 1:16, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 2 Thessalonians 1:8, 1 Peter 4:17).

We obey the Gospel by repentance, baptism in water by immersion in His name for the remission of sins, and receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38, John 3:5) with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:4, Acts 10:45&46).

We believe this because the Bible is the inerrant, final authority on salvation and speaks explicitly on these matters. We have also found, by experience, His Word to be true.

We believe the Bible teaches that there is only one God. As “God”, we recognize that He is the Supreme Being, King of the Universe, all-knowing, all-powerful, true, ever-living, and eternal.

He is holy and loving in His nature, attributes, and purpose, and He alone possesses absolute, indivisible deity.

As the Father, we recognize Him as our Creator and Loving Supplier of all our needs.

As the Son, we recognize Him, as Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, our Savior, the Messiah, the Christ, the Word incarnate, the sinless Lamb of God. He sacrificed His sinless life for our salvation. His death on the cross and the shedding of His blood once and for all purchased our redemption and paid for our sins.

As the Holy Spirit, we recognize that God is a Spirit and He is Holy. As the Holy Spirit, He is God, present on Earth by emanation, adopting us as sons, (Gal 4:6, Rom 8:14) working in believers unto sanctification, convincing the world of sin, and revealing Christ.

We understand that God is multiple in His attributes, but one in substance. (Deut 6:4, James 2:19, Isa 45:5)

This One true God has revealed Himself to be everything humanity needs, including, but not limited to those listed above. This one true God is a God who delights in revealing Himself to those who diligently seek Him. In the Old Testament, He manifested Himself to humanity in numerous theophanies, culminating in the direct revelation of Himself as our Savior in the Son (Isa 9:6, Gal 4:4, Matt 1:23). Shortly after His ascension, He began to carry on His work in this Earth as the Holy Ghost,(Romans 8:9, 2 Cor 3:17) transforming those who will allow unto the Image of Christ.

We believe in and regularly see divine healing as He promised. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is returning soon.
